Norwegian savings bank, Fana Sparebank, is building upon its customer-centric growth strategy by integrating the Tietevry Banking, the banking software provider, solution into its infrastructure.

The new partnership, which will come into effect from 1 April 2025, will enhance the Fana Sparebank mobile and self-service offerings, including the self-service loan management solution. This will be made possible due to the integration of Tietevry Banking’s core banking systems, card and payment services, and advanced financial crime prevention tools.

During the contract period, Fana Sparebank will migrate to Tietoevry’s modernised core banking system, providing the bank with greater flexibility and future readiness. Under the agreement, Tietoevry Banking will provide a modernised banking platform that ensures compliance with Norwegian banking regulations and security standards while delivering reliable, high-performance operations.

Working together for a better customer experience

Both parties aim to establish close collaboration around transaction and behavioral analytics, leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver deeper insights and better customer experiences.

In a market where expectations for 24/7 digital access are growing – alongside the need for real human interaction when it matters most – we depend on robust, user-friendly tools. This partnership gives us access to a future-ready core banking platform and solutions that strengthen our digital interface, while increased flexibility allows our skilled employees to focus on what matters most.”
