In a move to provide better support to businesses in creating inclusive and equitable cultures, global payments platform Ecommpay is offering free neurodiversity training to its partners and clients in May 2025.
Cressida Stephenson, founder and CEO of inclusive talent practitioner EdenChase Associates, will lead a full-day programme for Ecommpay on 20 May, focusing on building a neuro-inclusive culture by enhancing understanding of neurodivergence, recognising common traits, and providing guidance on supporting neurodivergent individuals throughout the job application, interview, and employment journey.
The training will look to highlight the benefits of neurodiverse teams and key workplace and communication adjustments that foster a more inclusive environment.
The programme will also include a short panel discussion featuring neurodiverse individuals who will talk about their experiences in and outside the workplace, providing valuable context for the training.
“It is great to see businesses like Ecommpay recognise the need to build neurodiversity into their day-to-day operations as well as extend the support to its partners and customers,” explained Stephenson. “It is estimated that more than 70 per cent of Gen Alpha and currently 53 per cent of Gen Z identify as neurodivergent.
“With such a significant proportion of the population, the talent pool and customer base of every business, it’s critical for organisations to understand how those individuals present, interact, process information and emotions, as well as communicate.”
Ecommpay employees will also take part in the course as part of the mandatory diversity and inclusivity training already in place as part of the Ecommpay for Good programme.
