Creating a digital platform that simplifies and accelerates the commercial card enrolment process, Perfios, a global B2B SaaS techfin, and payments giant Mastercard have joined forces to transform commercial card issuance for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Middle East and African regions.

The collaboration will bring together the global payments network of Mastercard with the expertise in AI of Perfios, data analytics, and real-time financial decisions to cater to SMEs that have previously had limited access to commercial credit and working capital tools like business cards. The new partnership between the two companies will recognise the impact of SMEs in their regions by removing long-standing onboarding and decisioning bottlenecks that hinder growth.

Perfios’ new AI-driven platform streamlines the commercial card issuance journey, from data collection and verification to decisioning and activation, significantly reducing complexity and processing time for banks and their SME clients. Mastercard and Perfios’ collaboration was formalised with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Dubai FinTech Summit 2025.

Perfios, the operating system for BFSIs, brings deep expertise in building and scaling financial infrastructure across the end-to-end customer lifecycle, covering onboarding, verification, decisioning, underwriting, risk intelligence, fraud prevention, and more. In partnership with Mastercard, this robust technology stack will help simplify and accelerate access to commercial card issuance, empowering banks to better serve the underserved SME segment and drive inclusive growth across the MEA region.

    Sabyasachi Goswami, CEO of Perfios

“This partnership with Mastercard marks a crucial step forward in democratising access to commercial card services for SMEs,” said Sabyasachi Goswami, CEO of Perfios. “By combining our AI-led decisioning and data intelligence capabilities with Mastercard’s trusted payments infrastructure, we’re creating a seamless experience that will transform how banks serve their business banking customers.”

The solution will be initially launched in the MENA region with plans for broader rollout across regions in the coming months. This partnership represents a significant step forward in addressing the evolving needs of SMEs and financial institutions in the digital economy.
