DailyPay, the New York-based worktech company and earned wage access solution provider, has forged two new partnerships that benefit frontline workers across the US.
American HealthCare LLC, a healthcare management company, and goHappy, a frontline employee engagement solutions provider, have both joined forces with DailyPay in order to simplify frontline workers’ access to their earned wages.
Thanks to a DailyPay integration, employers will be able to send personalised DailyPay links to their employees through automated or prompted text messages via the goHappy platform. This collaboration empowers employers to raise the visibility of DailyPay at their organisations, enabling their employees to have the choice and flexibility over the earned pay they deserve.
Meanwhile, with DailyPay, American HealthCare employees will be able to access their earned pay at any time, enabling them to pay bills, save, spend, or invest on their own schedule.
According to research from the Harris Poll and DailyPay, 82 per cent of US healthcare workers say it would be helpful to be paid more frequently than twice per month.
“Both DailyPay and goHappy are focused on building a happier, more engaged frontline workforce, which improves retention and increases productivity,” said Shawn Boyer, founder and CEO of goHappy. “Now that we have this simple but effective integration, frontline employers can unlock a force multiplier when it comes to retention and engagement. We’re thrilled to partner with DailyPay to help boost frontline employee financial wellness.”
Supporting employees’ financial wellbeing
DailyPay research from September 2023 revealed that 55 per cent of DailyPay users say they pick up at least one extra shift per month because they know they can access earned pay ahead of payday. Employees who leverage DailyPay for access to earned wages can find themselves better positioned to pay bills on time, avoid late fees, and avoid accumulating credit card debt.
The data shows about seven in 10 (69 per cent) of DailyPay users who previously paid late fees do this less often or stopped completely since they started using DailyPay. It also found that 62 per cent of users who previously incurred credit card interest charges do this less often or stopped completely since they started using DailyPay.
“The partnership with goHappy’s text-messaging-based platform speaks to our ongoing commitment to empower employers with tools and solutions to help their workers thrive,” commented Carly Brush, SVP, HCM at DailyPay.
Brad Dalton, chief operating officer at American HealthCare, also discussed the partnership: “By offering our employees the ability to access their earnings instantly, we show our commitment to recognising their hard work and dedication. This benefit not only supports their financial well-being but also strengthens the connection they have to the meaningful work they do for our residents every day.”
