    Deadline Extension for Fintech Awards London 2025

    The deadline for entering the fourth annual Fintech Awards London, taking place in London on 18 June 2025, has been extended to 8pm on Friday 4 April.

    The Fintech Awards London recognise and celebrate the fintech professionals and companies making a difference in London.

    On extending the deadline to enter, Matt Hyde, managing director of the Fintech Awards London, commented: “We’ve listened to your emails and calls and extended entries and nominations by one week until 8pm on 4 April. This is your last opportunity to get involved in London’s biggest fintech celebration.”

    As a key event for the fintech community, the Fintech Awards London serves as an important venue for networking and collaboration, offering a platform for industry professionals to celebrate the past year’s achievements and foster connections that spur future advancements.

    Attraction of the Awards

    Sam Edge, head of startups and venture capital, UK and Ireland at sponsor AWS, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor Fintech Awards London in the new category of Best use of AI in Fintech. The UK is a global leader in fintech innovation, and events like this shine a light on the ground-breaking work being done by innovators across all stages of maturity.

These awards are crucial in shining a light on the initiatives, leaders and organisations at the vanguard of fintech excellence from open finance and regtech to AI and tackling economic crime. My mayoral theme, Growth Unleashed, looks to champion such work and drive them forward as we pursue economic growth in every corner of the country.”

    The judges

    Entrants must submit their applications by 8pm on 4 April 2025. Following this deadline, a panel of expert judges will evaluate the entries and determine the finalists. Judges this year include industry heavyweights:

    • Chris Woolard CBE, partner at EY
    • Janine Hirt, CEO of Innovate Finance
    • Louise Brett, former Deloitte vice chair and UK & Europe fintech and financial services innovation lead partner
    • Susanne Chishti, founder and chair of FINTECH Circle
    • Mark Walker, editorial director at The Fintech Times
    • Joe Parkin, co-founder and managing partner at FG Partners
    • Kate Rosenshine, global technology director, strategic partnerships – ISV and digital natives at Microsoft
    • Lucas Germanos, vice president of communications and external affairs at Zopa Bank

    This year’s Awards recognise achievements across several categories, including Fintech Startup of the Year, Fintech Company of the Year, and sector-specific awards for wealthtech, paytech and insurtech.

    The event also welcomes back AON as one of the headline sponsors.
