OpenLoot, the platform behind popular Web3 games like Big Time, is launching a new reward program called the OpenLoot Credit Airdrop.

Starting 19 October 2025, instead of giving out tokens, OpenLoot will be offering discount credits worth up to $2.9 million, to thank players who stayed true to the platform and supported their earlier games.

These credits are not just cash or crypto. Imagine them being more like coupons that give you up to 25% discount on future purchases made with OpenLoot’s native token $OL.

The goal here is simple. The platform wants to reward past spending and encourage players to stay active in the ecosystem. This is an important decision, as OpenLoot wants to shift its attention towards Big Time and other internal developments.

Open Loot is entering an exciting new chapter.

We’re building new in-house games, a mobile pet-collecting adventure in the Big Time universe and a high-stakes competitive strategy game, and more.

So how do $OL credits work?

Well, they’re basically special discount points tied to your OpenLoot account. You can’t trade or sell them. But what you can do, is use them to save money on approved purchases including NFTs, skins, weapons and other in-game items within the platform’s marketplace.

This isn’t OpenLoot’s first reward program either. Their previous initiatives include the $OL TGE Airdrop, VIP tiers with extra perks and Binance Alpha Drop in June 2025, which gave 1,836 $OL tokens to eligible users.

So Who’s Eligible? And How Does One Claim It?

If you’ve ever made a first time purchase in an OpenLoot supported game, excluding Big Time, between 24 August 2023 and 22 September 2025, you are likely eligible for the $OL Credit Airdrop.

This initiative is mainly aimed at early players who supported initial titles like Boss Fighters, Shatterpoint, The Desolation and Kokodi, before Big Time.

Claiming your credits is simple and does not require filling out forms or gas fees. OpenLoot will send a notification email before 19 October 2025, detailing how much you have earned.

Once you receive the email,, you can log into your account on the platform and connect your wallet to view your credit balance directly in your dashboard.

If the email doesn’t arrive on time, the platform advices to check your spam folder or to reach out to OpenLoot’s support team via Discord to confirm eligibility.

How To Use The OpenLoot Credit And What To Expect?

To use up your credits, you must first fund your wallet with OL tokens, available on exchanges like OKX and Binance. Once your wallet is ready, head over to the marketplace or the Big Time store and browse through items like NFTs, gear or game expansions. During checkout, you should be able to apply your $OL credits to reduce the final price on your purchase.

There’s no minimum spend required. Although, the credit you receive depends on how much you have spent, historically. The more you spend, the more credits you receive. For instance, someone who might have spend $500 might get around $125 in credits. It’s all up in the air and varies from player to player.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the value depends on the price of $OL, which can fluctuate.
