A new partnership has been announced between Swedish embedded finance provider Intergiro and SEON, the digital fraud prevention and compliance firm, to improve security in the former’s embedded finance ecosystem and combat growing cyber threats.
AI-generated deepfakes, synthetic identities and hyper-targeted phishing attacks are just some of the cyberthreats on the rise. As fraud evolves, organisations’ cyber defences must too. As a result of the new partnership, Intergiro is integrating SEON’s anti-fraud and anti-money laundering (AML) technologies.#
Businesses and consumers alike will benefit from heightened security and smoother transactions at every touchpoint, with reduced friction during verification, accelerated compliance checks, and seamless real-time payments.
Tamas Kadar, CEO at SEON, said: “Fraudsters constantly evolve their tactics— and so do we. At SEON, we leverage real-time device intelligence, advanced AI and transparent machine learning rules with human expertise to deliver adaptive fraud prevention. Integrated seamlessly through an API-first approach into Intergiro’s innovative platform, our technology strengthens security without adding friction, setting new benchmarks for digital trust and risk management.”
As a result of the partnership, SEON will proactively detect deepfake KYC attempts, synthetic identities, and mass-registration fraud before accounts are created through Intergiro. Consequently, this will strengthen payment security by identifying and blocking suspicious transactions, card fraud, and chargeback abuse.

It will also enhance protection across all financial transactions. SEON will monitor unusual fund movements, such as sudden high-value transfers or frequent transactions in rapid succession, and unauthorised transactions, to protect the entire financial ecosystem.
Nick Root, CEO at Intergiro, said: “While no system can guarantee complete immunity from fraud, our goal is to minimise risk by continually enhancing our technology through AI, automation, and real-time monitoring. This proactive stance, bolstered by our partnership with SEON, ensures we stay ahead of evolving threats and keep our ecosystem secure.”
