Canadian payments firm Nuvei has appointed Moshe Selfin as Chief Product Officer and Chad Gerhardstein as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer as part of its efforts to strengthen its executive team.
Selfin will report to Chair and CEO Philip Fayer, while Gerhardstein will report to CFO David Schwartz.
He was previously Chief Operations & Technology Officer at Finaro, which was acquired by Shift4.
At Nuvei, Selfin will oversee global product strategy and development, focusing on expanding the company’s payment solutions and technology reach.

Gerhardstein, who joins from PwC, where he specialised in cyber risk and regulation for fintech, payments, and digital assets, will lead Nuvei’s risk management and compliance framework.
He has also held senior roles at Vantiv and was Chief Compliance Officer at Worldpay.
Nuvei’s Chair and CEO Philip Fayer said the appointments align with the firm’s strategic focus on product innovation and regulatory compliance, adding that Selfin and Gerhardstein’s expertise will support the company’s global expansion.
Nuvei delisted and became a private company following a US$6.3 billion deal with Advent International following regulatory approvals in November last year.
