Airwallex has been recognised as a Company of Good by Singapore’s National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), affirming the firm’s commitment to social impact and corporate purpose.
The recognition highlights Airwallex’s participation in the Company of Good framework, which promotes responsible business practices across five pillars: People, Society, Governance, Environment, and Economy.
It also aligns with the broader Forward Singapore initiative that encourages organisations to contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable society.
This recognition follows the launch of Airwallex Impact, the company’s global social impact programme introduced in late 2024.
Under the Pledge 1% movement, Airwallex has committed a portion of its equity, product, profit, and employee time to community initiatives.
The programme also includes donation frameworks and social impact partnerships across its global offices, including its Singapore headquarters.
In the first half of 2025, more than 120 Airwallex employees worldwide participated in volunteer activities, marking a 58 percent increase over the total number in 2024.
In Singapore, employees have supported several community-focused efforts including youth empowerment, marine conservation, and environmental awareness.
These included a fintech and career readiness workshop with United Women Singapore’s Girls2Pioneers initiative, a reef biodiversity survey with Marine Stewards, and a coastal clean-up in partnership with the Ocean Purpose Project.
Airwallex is also supporting the upcoming Endowus Giving Machines campaign as its Gold Partner.
Running from August 2025 to January 2026, the campaign places digital donation points at MRT stations, malls, and cinemas, allowing the public to contribute to more than 40 local charities.
Since its launch, the initiative has raised nearly S$300,000 in donations.
This year’s edition is held in conjunction with SG60 and follows the national theme of “Building Our Singapore Together,” with contributions potentially eligible for the SG Gives matching grant.

“Airwallex’s commitment to social impact aligns with our shared belief that finance can be a force for good – not just in building wealth, but in enabling broader social impact.
Together, we’re empowering more people to support meaningful causes that they care about in simple, everyday ways.”
said Gregory Van, Co-founder and CEO, Endowus.

“At Airwallex, purpose is central to our mission. We’re proud to be recognised as a Company of Good and to do our part in strengthening the communities in which we live and work.
We believe innovation and impact go hand in hand – and we’ll continue finding new ways to use our time, product, and expertise to drive economic empowerment, inclusion, and opportunity.”
said Lucy Liu, Co-founder and President, Airwallex.
